Additional Save Default for TextMaker 2012

Post by Robin Holt » Fri Apr 24, 2015 3:19 am

I think it would be useful to add an addition in the Options Files Menu to allow TextMaker 2012 as a default file format when saving files. I'm sure a lot of people will continue to use TextMaker 2016 in a "mixed" environment alongside 2012, or exchange files with FreeOffice users and it can be hard to remember that not all .tmd files are created equal. I note that PlanMaker 2016 allows PlanMaker 2012 as a default save option.

I will refer your suggestion to our developers.

It would also be useful for a textmaker 2015 save option so I dont lose my files when 2018 expires in 10 days.

You can manually save all your file in TmextMaker 2012 or MS Word file format via File=>Save as. That way will not lose any file if you don't want to upgrade to SoftMaker Office 2016.
