Hiding the Sidebar

Post by BearPup » Mon Dec 16, 2013 2:57 am

Hello People,
A quick question for now. I have just installed FreeOffice for Windows 2012 (I also have the full version for 2010), and though I can hide the Sidebar from the view menu, every time I restart the application, the Sidebar reappears until I hide it again.

Is there a way to permanently hide the sidebar? I find it more of a distraction than anything else. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
BearPup

It is not possible to hide the sidebar permanently in FreeOffice. You can do that in SoftMaker Office.

Thank you for the quick reply. It is disappointing news, but I guess its an incentive to go to the paid version. For myself, I'll just go 'backwards' to my paid 2010 Standard Office that I have. Not a big loss as far as I can see - my needs are simple, and I've yet to find anything that I wanted to do but couldn't do in the 2010 version, so back I go.

With Thanks,
BearPup
