Visibility of frame guidelines.

Post by Neutrino » Thu Aug 22, 2013 5:12 pm

Is there some way to configure the visibility of frame guidelines so that they are visible only when selected? The specific case I've come across is for headers and footers but it may be a question that applies more generally to other types of frames I haven't used yet.

In the case of headers and footers I don't want the header or footers frame to be visible the whole time I'm editing a document because it's a bit distracting, but I would like it to become visible when I'm actually editing the header or footer.

Tools/Options/View/Frame guidelines. But if you turn them off, they will also not be shown when you are inside the frame. We already have an enhancement request for this.
