TextMaker gives no feedback to indicate whether the current

Post by Neutrino » Wed Aug 21, 2013 6:09 pm

There are well established mechanisms by which a document based application provides feedback to the User regarding the saved/unsaved state of the current document.

1) The document title in the application header indicates using a asterisk whether the current doucment is modified. E.g.
TextMaker - [Document1.odt] * <- asterisk indicates document is modified.

2) The save button on the toolbar should be enabled only when the document is modified and there is something to save.

TextMaker does not appear to implement either of these approaches.
How then am I supposed to tell whether the current document state is saved?
