Crash on Save

Postby GrouchyGaijin » Thu Sep 17, 2015 10:07 am

I am trying to make a PowerPoint presentation for work. I want to save the presentation to open it on a Windows machine running Office 2010.

My system information is:

Code: Select all

SoftMaker SoftMaker Presentations System Information
Revision: 702
Distribution Files:
Generic, Ubuntu
LC_ALL: <null>
LC_LANG: <null>
LC_CTYPE: <null>
RC_LANG: <null>
Window Manager: Compiz
OS 64bit detection: [64] ; 1
OS 64bit internal values: 1 ; 13351 --- 4 ; 7
Libraries [Gnome ; Font ; Pango ; Cups]: 1 ; 1 ; 1 ; 1
GnomeKde flags: 1 ; 0
*** End of log ***

The problem is that whenever I try to save the file the presentation system crashes and all of the work I have done is gone.
When I launch the Softmaker Presentation software again, the software attempts to recover what I have done, however, none of the most recent information is recovered. (Anything I have written today is lost.) I would really appreciate some guidance. I have to give this presentation Monday and I'd rather not go into the office over the weekend just to use Power Point.
