Display error

Post by Mark Davies » Sat Apr 20, 2013 1:32 pm

I'm trying out SM for Linux on Mint 14. TM and Presentations seem to work OK, but PM is displaying in a miniaturized form in the top left fo the screen! Its menus seem unresponsive to mouse clicks. I'm new to Linux and don't know what to make of this.

After a reboot, it's not so bad. The window still won't move from the top left corner, but it's bigger and can be viewed at a bigger size, However, the mouse pointer is not accurate; it clicks on things about half a centimetre above and to the left of its tip.

Sounds strange. Can you invoke the menus? If yes, you can try to change the dialog style in Tools=>Options=>Appearance. Maybe it makes a difference.

Sorry not to reply, but I've now deleted the dual-boot installation of Linux and I'm using it in Virtual Box. When I get around to re-installing SM, I'll let you know if I get the problem again.
