Changing extensions To View Document

Post by Friend » Sat Jan 24, 2015 3:08 pm

Hi: I am trying to change an extension so that I can read the document in SoftMaker format. I changed it to .txt, but I get a message that reads 'Unable to Open file.' Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

What is the current file extension of your file you want to open in TextMaker?

.JSR, and .bil. It's a program that encourages using Microsoft Office, but I prefer SoftMaker. Evidentally, the extensions are recognized by M Office, however, I tried to google both extensions, and came up with nothing. Thanks for responding :)

TextMaker does not support .JSR, and .bil. You can try to open these files with Ms Office or OpenOffice/LibreOffice and save it in a more common file format like .doc or .docx. TextMaker can open these files properly.
