returning to Microsoft Outlook

Post by encodeme » Sat Sep 08, 2012 7:12 pm

Hi,
Is it easy to export emails back to outlook?
I've used Softmaker for a few weeks now and think maybe it's time to go back.
Thanks

Currently there is no way to export your e-mails into a .pst file to import it into Outlook. You have to save your e-mails in .eml format (File=>Save) and open them in Outlook.

Oh, this is sad :( .... If I had realised, I would not have gone down the Softmaker route.

Is there any other program that I can use as an iterim stage to get them back to Outlook?

Thanks

If you have access to an IMAP mail account (maybe you can configure yours to use IMAP, or you can use Google Mail), you can drag all local e-mails to mail folders on this IMAP server. Later, use Outlook to retrieve these e-mails.
