Problem with Trash and Drafts folders

Post by jdaughtryrcn » Thu Nov 17, 2011 5:14 pm

Love the eM Client, it renders my RCN email correctly unlilke any other client I've ever tried. One problem I am seeing has to do with the "Trash" and "Drafts" folders. The client tries to create those folders on the server even though they already exist, but can't do so because of "permission" problems. Perhaps I could just get it to sync to the existing folders, but the "properties" screen seems to be read-only. So there are two questions:

- Is there a way to suppress the error message for this problem when eM starts up?

- Is there a way to tell eM where the folders for "trash" and "drafts" really exist?

Here is an answer from the developers:

---

You can turn off error message popping up by unchecking "Show window when an error occurs" option in Tools->Settings->Operations Window section but IMAP special folders (in your case Trash and Drafts folders) should be set in the account settings, IMAP tab, section Special Folders.
