SoftMaker Office 2006 (and the upcoming Office 2008 will be) is portable.

portable version?
SoftMaker Office 2008 is portable. BasicMaker however cannot run in portable mode, since it needs to register as an OLE Automation server in the system. There is nothing we can do about this.

macro recorder and basic documentation?
No macro recorder yet, but the full documentation of the object model is included as a help file.

ms2007 import?
DOCX import/export and XLSX import come with SoftMaker Office 2010.

nested numeration? (http://www.softmaker.com/forum/viewtopi ... =86&t=5725)
Nested numbering behaves like in Word. If you want to simply increase the indent, this could be a simple macro if we supported Selection.ParagraphFormat. I'll see what I can do to get that included in TextMaker 2010.
