Mobilepro 780

Post by rwhitley » Thu May 19, 2005 3:01 am

I am trying to confirm if planmakes for HPC will run on a NEC Mobilepro 780. The website say it will only run on Strongarm and Xscale processors but the forum here seems to indicate it will run on MIPS as well (which I believe is what the 780 uses).

MIPS was supported in the beginning of PlanMaker for Handheld PCs, but we had to cancel support for these devices as the compilers for these CPUs were way too buggy.

Does this mean if we own MobilePro with MIPS processor, we should not purchase Planmaker?

Yes, PlanMaker for Handheld PCs does not support MIPS, so it will not work on these devices.
