Bug with find and search box

Post by lawrencegoodman000 » Thu Nov 18, 2010 10:41 pm

If you check search from start in the find dialog box, it will run a search from start. But the next time you open the dialog box, it is unchecked. I don't see why this is.

Please consider implementing a wraparound feature for the search box. Most word processors have it.

Thanks.

My version: 2010 rev 584.

If you perform a search from top, you probably don't want to find the same word at the top of your text over and over again but find the other ones in your text. That's the reason why the tick in "search from top" disappears after TextMaker found the first word from the top of your text.

I sort of understand, but the user should have more control over this.
How about simply implementing a wrap around feature? Fixes the whole problem.
