Convert problem

Post by Princy557 » Wed May 18, 2011 10:43 am

Hi All,
Newbie to the forum. Can't find a comment after a search so I have a question....

I have a sheet with a value in A2, a value in B2, a formula in C2 and a Convert(A2,ft,m) in d2

I continually get the #NAME?

A2 = 468 (default)
B2 = 1.832 (number, to 3 decimal)
C2 = =(A2/B2)/2 (number to 3 decimal places)
D2 = =CONVERT(C2,ft,m) (number to 6 decimal places)

What the heck am I doing wrong?

=CONVERT(C2;"ft";"m")

I was at a loss myself first. In PlanMaker Help, you have to scroll down to the bottom to find it in the examples.

Cheers

Thanks Jossi,

I had assumed the quotes were just letting me know to use the items listed above.....

SMACK
Must pay more attention.

Yes it works, I think maybe a single comment to use the quotes, might just help...
