Unable to start hyphenation for "English (United States)"

Postby nwakumoto » Thu Mar 11, 2010 7:47 pm

I am evaluating SM Office 2008 for our field services organization on Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro devices. I am receiving the error above when attempting to open a .DOC file.

Thanks.

Why do you try to run the Windows CE version on a Windows Mobile device? While it should technically run there, the Windows Mobile version is much more suited.

This being said, please check if the spell\ folder contains the file "useng.hyn". That's the hyphenation code, and the file must be there.

Also, note that nothing bad will happen to your file or your editing experience; only automated hyphenation will be temporarily unavailable.
