Boundless Paise: TMDX/DOCX file-structure
Since I detected it I was not sure if this is a bug or a feature. As it serves me well, I tend to thank SoftMaker that they do not insist on the usual structure of an OOXML document for tmdx or docx, meaning: You can zip together the xml files that you need and can omit all those that you do not nee...

Re: Enhancement: Images in HTML / ALT-Text
This workaround is more an additional argument for the use of the alternate text than a “ solution ”: First, I scrutinize the temporary HTML-file for src attributes, i.e. URLs of images. Then I fetch each one of the referenced pictures, separately, and store it under its original file-name, but in t...

[Done] Enhancement: Images in HTML / ALT-Text
Good evening. This applies to SoftMaker Office in general, although I have currently only use for the feature in TextMaker. When I copy&paste fragments of HTML-content from a browser into TextMaker, <img/> is honored in the way that the picture is included in the TextMaker version of the documen...

« The French» again... still selling arms to Saudi Arabia, who has the contracts and continues to promise petrol to the U.S. which do see the end of the shale gas era coming soon... Where is the petrol, so that they can continue to pollute and not care (for 1 generation or so).? The Afghan pipelines...

Re: Insert > Photo album
I tested it with rev.946.0213 64bit and the Nightly version and the option "Save within document" was set. The problem occurs, when the option is NOT SET . The OP wrote: If pictures are added via the 'Photo-album' wizard as embedded link ('Save pictures in document' has not been ticked ),...

Confirmed.
This malfunction and the obligation to store images in the document defy the whole purpose of the wizard.

Re: List of bugs at a glance
If you save and open later Meaning: The current font-setting is not taken into consideration, if the original font is different from the one currently set automatically (as a replacement font) by TextMaker? This is a little esoteric. Let's say, I like the replacement font better. How do I save the ...

Re: Clear Text Style Formatting
How do you clear character styles from a block of text? Presumably, to clear paragraph styles, one just applies a different style or chooses "Standard". You define a character style which represents what you consider "cleared", then apply it. Edit: Over 2100 views for this threa...

Generate tables in a new TMDX-document
This is the result of an endeavor already mentioned in https://forum.softmaker.com/viewtopic.php?f=306&t=18232 You can replace TMDX by OOXML in the subject-line of this post. Now I have a ruby-program which does the work for me: It generates a table and fills the first column with a sequence of ...

Re: No hidden settings folder
I only access to a sub-folder of /home/[user], when I already know what I want to do there or which file I will need to work with. So, while I had to get accustomed to the new location in ~/SoftMaker , -and although I had to change a few shell-scripts which manipulate the configuration of SoftMaker ...

Re: Cut/Copy/Paste does not copy formatting...
On the Home tab, section Edit on the left, there is a paint brush, which is meant for copying format. Excel has exactly the same and it works well in Planmaker. Although I do not contribute to a possible “solution”, you should also consider using the “Paste Special“ option. It is by default mapped ...

Re: how to add chapter numbers to the headings?
If I import an existing Word document with chapter numbering, it ist shown and handled correctly. Number increments if I split one heading onto two. table-of-contents can be created correctly... This only shows, that SoftMaker Office supports quite well the M$ file formats and can interpret formatt...

Re: how to add chapter numbers to the headings?
You can do that outside of Textmaker, using XSLT on the expanded document.xml file, then routinely to make updates...karsten.burger wrote: ↑Wed Dec 12, 2018 11:15 am Ok, but my question is how to get automatic numbering of chapters, please see post of Dec. 6th.
