The best one that I know is Amazon affiliate program. They reward the people with a certain %X percent for every item sold after referral. When the sum of rewards reach a certain amount, they issue a Amazon reward e-ticket which people can use while shopping at amazon for themselves. This program wo...

I certainly knew that I was not wrong. Check this article and figures. There lies a fortune on the MacOSX clients who will definitely need an office suite. Microsoft has discovered that cash cow. Why SoftMaker is sleeping? :) http://informationweek.com/blog/main/archives/2007/08/microsoft_delay.html...

Is there any update on the affiliate programs? We want to earn some revenue for referring SoftMaker. Commission should be based on actual sales (shopping), not web site clicks.

Mac OSX again

I have been using Mac OSX sometimes in addition to Linux. I need a decent office suite with a decent price on that. I don't want to go for Microsoft office. It is extremely expensive and bloated compared to SoftMaker. I know it is hard to port SoftMaker to Mac OSX, but it will worth. You have a chan...

Why don't you put a general pricing for not-for-profit-organizations on your web site similar to academic, and let people know the standards? You may filter them eventually per request.

SoftMaker for not-for-profit-organizations

Are you planning any custom pricing scheme for not-for-profit-organizations similar to academic pricing? Assume that a not-for-profit-organization wants to deploy SoftMaker only on to its corporate desktops and laptops (excluding private personal computers). That would be nice if you would consider ...

Excellent point. Keep OLE Automation in place if that is the case for windows customers. However, meanwhile, additionally, consider a broader and community supported plug-in architecture similar what FireFox guys did. Please see the following link to get what I mean. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US...

Please investigate the architecture of Mozilla FireFox. It has an excellent plug-in architecture for all platforms, Windows-Linux-MacOSX.

OLE Automation is from the ancient history, and it is not cross platform.

Please reconsider this again.

Open APIs and Plug-in Architecture

What made FireFox so populer was not the its being open source. Rather it had an open architecture for plug-ins so that many developers were able to contribute to FireFox.

What is your plan about SoftMaker office suite regarding this point?

Beware again. Apple is coming back. And their Mac customers also need a cheap decent office software. :) I know one candidate (softmak..). ;) Apple sold 1.76 million Macintosh computers during the quarter, a record for Mac sales in one quarter and up 33% from the year-earlier period. Mac sales inclu...

Thunderbird is fairly populer. Why don't you build your custom version on top of that as MailMaker? The idea is to provide a complete office package. Unless you provide a complete set, you cannot gain huge markets in the enterprise space. ThunderBird has excellent e-mail and calendaring capabilities...
