Cannot Change Default Font Size In TextMaker

Hi Downloaded the FreeOffice, and using the tip (in the right hand Column) I set about changing the default Times New Roman font size from 10 to 12. That is I opened Normal.TMV (and made sure that the template was open and not doc) then I changed the font size to 12 and saved it. Yet when I reboot t...

Re: Mailmerge Printing Labels

Hi Jossi Many, many thanks for your very helpful reply. I actually thought my problem had been cracked, but,........ There is one major flaw with your solution. Let me try and explain. I am using Labels on a sheet, 3 columns x 8 rows 33.9mm x 64mm. Using your solution, when you print out the names a...

Re: Envelopes - Page Settings Envelope Orientation

Hi Sven Please find attachment. My numbers are slightly different to yours, simply because some time ago I altered the position to suit UK envelope addressing. As an aside, it does not matter which of the Envelope Orientation buttons you press (in Paper Settings dialogue box) the numbers are exactly...

Re: Envelopes - Page Settings Envelope Orientation

Hi Sven "For template files you can change the orientation in File=>Page setup. Is that what you mean?" No, that is not what I mean. Best way to get you to see what I mean is this: Go to INSERT>ENVELOPE, up pops a dialogue box. Click on PAPER SETTINGS, up pops another dialogue box called PAPER SETTI...

Envelopes - Page Settings Envelope Orientation

Hi When using TextMaker > Insert Envelope there is a button called Paper Settings, which if clicked allows amongst others, the choosing of Envelope Orientation. To be absolutely clear Envelope Orientation means how and where you position the envelope in your printer so the address is printed correct...

I HOPE.......

Hi I am slowly becoming an aficionado of Softmaker. Particularly since all the pundits of free software recommend Open Office or its derivatives. The fact is that at the macro level, Open Office et al, is a full suite of products, more so than Softmaker. At the micro level, Open Office is far from u...

Re: Any programmers made an addon for getting stock quotes?

Hi

I would be very interested in such an addon, BUT for the UK market, AND not just for UK stocks, BUT UK & Ireland mutual funds.

Thanks

Re: Version 591 Does Not Make backup

Hi Sven-1 I right click on the ofw10_591 file and click on run as Administrator, after this it starts to install (or unpack) then the box is ticked to create backup of previous version. At this point it says unable to backup "do you want to continue without backup". All previous fixes and service pa...

Re: Printing From Print Preview

Hi Sven-1 Hotfix 5080 appears to solve the problem described in these various posts. Thank you. I think however you might have introduced another issue which I will try to describe here. First open letter template with address fields thereon. Second open Address database and select (put ticks in sma...

Re: Printing From Print Preview

Hi Sven Thanks for the download. I have to confess that I may have jumped the gun a bit on this problem, either because my understanding of Textmaker is not as fulsome as I would wish or because I did not read the manual. However I still think there may be a problem. The undernoted The upshot is thi...
