How do I set a new default Presentation template?

I would like my 2010 default template to be used in 2012, because I need U.S. page sizes. How do I set a new default template?

Thanks,
Sophie

Re: PlanMaker doesn't see my template

See: http://www.softmaker.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=139&t=8396#p31797 Thanks, RKanarek -- I had already read your topic, which was why I tried so many variants of the filepath in the config file as well as in the Options command window (Sven). None of the variants make any difference, and it doesn'...

PlanMaker doesn't see my template

Hello, I've listed my template folder as /mnt/storageHP/ComputerStuff/AnyOS/SoftmakerStuff/SoftMaker/Templates/English/PlanMaker/ This is on my storage partition. I've also tried: /mnt/storageHP/ComputerStuff/AnyOS/SoftmakerStuff/SoftMaker/Templates/English/ /mnt/storageHP/ComputerStuff/AnyOS/Softma...

Re: Unexpected crash on Service Pack 596

It would be interesting to see log files from TextMaker. You get them by running TextMaker with the -debug parameter: ./textmaker -debug This should create the file tmlog.txt in the SoftMaker folder below your home folder. Could you e-mail it to forum (at) softmaker.de ? Martin, are you talking to ...

Re: Unexpected crash on Service Pack 596

I've installed rev 596 three times on two more machines, and here are the results. * openSuse KDE on Acer Aspire 3935-6504 laptop: segmentation fault * openSuse XFCE on Acer Aspire 3935-6504 laptop: segmentation fault * openSuse XFCE on Asus EEE 900HA netbook: successful run of Textmaker, Presentati...

Re: Unexpected crash on Service Pack 596

I have used Textmaker with Gnome for years. I upgraded to the new openSuse, using the KDE desktop this time (I hate Gnome 3) -- and suddenly I get this problem.

My video card is nVidia NV17, and I'm using a generic vesa driver.

Re: Unexpected crash on Service Pack 596

I have the same problem, which started when I upgraded to openSuse 12.1, also with KDE. I get the same error message. Has there been any action on this? Is there an edit we can make to the executable files?

Note: I didn't have any problems in the previous openSuse version, using Gnome.

Sorry for the long delay in responding. Something has been magically fixed. It no longer considers .rtf executable. But thanks anyway.

Re: Printing stretched vertically

Can you please try it with another printer driver? Since SoftMaker Office does not come with own printer drivers and other customers can print properly in Opensuse 11.4 this could help you. I got the driver automatically using the default openSuse printer installer. How would I find another driver?...

Printing stretched vertically

Hello--when I print Softmaker documents in Opensuse 11.4, the pages are stretched vertically very slightly. So it's as if Textmaker is bold-ing the text and lines, but only vertically. This didn't happen in 11.3. It's very unattractive. I've tried installing the HP Photosmart C5280 using hplip from ...

RTF files are being saved as executables

I am saving files as RTF, and openSuse is considering all of them executable files. This means that I have to go through an extra step just to open the file. In my Properties window, under "Open With," Textmaker is listed as the default application. However, I have to choose "Display" -- it does not...

how do I hide icons in Windows Taskbar

I want to hide the Softmaker icons in my Windows Taskbar (the one perpetually on the bottom of my screen). My netbook screen is too tiny to devote that much real estate to them. But they appear every time I log in. I right-click them and choose "don't display" next to the icon name -- but they come ...
