I wanted to calculate the monthly rain average for a data set of N years using a pivot table.
I have the following data structure:
year1 month1 day1 rain tmin tmax
year1 month1 day2 rain tmin tmax
.....
yearN month12 day 31 rain tmin tmax

I want to calculate the monthly average of rain sums ...

Used to use libreoffice calc, but I have some issues with formulas containing range names. Saving files in xlsx format and sharing them with excel users, sometimes I loose range names, so formulas in the cells give back #NAME instead of the result.
