Re: Vertical Formatting Date Fields

Hi Robin
Thanks for this reply.

I had found this workaround and have used it while I waited for a reply from Softmaker. It provides a solution although I would rather have the characters one above the other rather than rotated.

Re: Vertical Formatting Date Fields

I realise that ## means cell is too narrow. The problem is that the cell should only need to be 1 character wide because the text is vertically formatted & is 1 character wide. Planmaker requires the cell to be as wide as the number of characters in the date (which is 6) then a the vertically format...

Re: Vertical Formatting Date Fields

Example file attached, Cell A1 holds date formatted as a 6 character string. Cell A1 is approx 2 characters wide and correctly displays the date in a vertical format when opened in Excel. In Planmaker column width needs to be increased to 6 characters to display the date (vertically), otherwise just...

Gridlines & Page Break Lines

When I create a new worksheet in PageMaker it defaults to showing gridlines around each cell and has slightly thicker lines show which I assume is where page breaks will occur. I want to turn these off so that the worksheet is completely free of lines. I'm not talking of borders here, it's the non p...

Paste Rows

When copying and pasting multiple rows in Planmaker I cannot find a way to Insert Paste so that the rows after the paste point move down by as many rows as are being pasted. All that happens is that the following rows are overwritten by the pasted data. In Excel there is a right click option to Inse...

Re: Centre Table On Page

Thanks, that works as I hoped.

Strange way of doing it though. MSOffice is a better method.

Centre Table On Page

Still migrating from MS Office 2003 to Softmaker 2016 and finding a few things I can't do. How do you centre a table on a page? In MS Office it was easy, just select the whole table and hit the Centre Justify toolbar button. Doing this on Softmaker 2016 centres the text within the cells, not the tab...

Vertical Formatting Date Fields

Have just migrated from MS Office to Softmaker Office and have a formatting issue in Planmaker. A date field which in Excel is formatted vertically, with a cell width of 1 character does not appear correctly in Planmaker. In Excel, the date is displayed with one character above the other in a vertic...
