Re: Where do I find the exported file converted by FlexiPDF to another format?

We seem to have to answer our questions ourselves in the lonely FlexiPDF forum section. The converted pages I asked about above, ended up in my Desktop folder, somehow. In fact, every single page of the 253 page FlexiPDF User Guide (or Manual) was converted separately, resulting in 253 single page M...

Where do I find the exported file converted by FlexiPDF to another format? (Brilliant program once mastered)

I do the following in an attempt to make FlexiPDF convert a few pages of a pdf file into MS Word: Files > Export > Select Pages (1 to 2) in the Export Pages Dialog. Then Format > General > Format: Microsoft Word > OK > OK. This takes me to the Windows Documents folder, where I must select a subfolde...

Re: How do I undo steps taken in FlexiPDF? And how do I insert my signature in a form?

Please tell me how to undo a mistake made when editing a pdf with FlexiPDF 2017. When I take the wrong step, I don't seem to be able to undo the step so I can rectify it and try again. Most actions cannot be undone in FlexiPDF. What can be undone can be found in the PDF manual on page 63. Notes abo...

Re: How do I undo steps taken in FlexiPDF? And how do I insert my signature in a form? (Partly solved)

The legality or contractual power of identical copies of a signature transferred to an unlimited amount and diversity of pdf documents must be contestable in court. Every instance of an individual's handwritten signature differs, to some degree, from the preceding and following instances. Every real...

Re: How do I undo steps taken in FlexiPDF? And how do I insert my signature in a form? (Partly solved.)

Regarding "Undo"... There are a few ways to rectify a mistake made, as far as I can see at this point. Let's suppose you drew a line using the Draw Tool, and the line needs to be removed. While you can still edit the line and can see the editing "handles", simply press the "Delete" key on your keybo...

Re: How do I undo steps taken in FlexiPDF? And how do I insert my signature in a form? (Partly solved)

Thanks for responding! There is no reference to "Undo" in the User Manual or any Undo Tool, so I suspect there is no such function. There must be another way to rectify mistakes made, while editing and after editing a pdf. Regarding the insertion of one's signature... In the case of Textmaker -- ded...

How do I undo steps taken in FlexiPDF? And how do I insert my signature in a form? (Partly solved)

Please tell me how to undo a mistake made when editing a pdf with FlexiPDF 2017. When I take the wrong step, I don't seem to be able to undo the step so I can rectify it and try again. Also, how do I insert my signature where it is required in a pdf form, often in a very small box or space? I suppos...

Re: Support provided for Softmaker's FlexiPDF?

My apologies! I somehow missed the small FlexiPDF forum when I searched for it. I've now found the forum, downloaded the program, and am eager to try it out.

Support provided for Softmaker's FlexiPDF?

I would like to buy Softmaker's FlexiPDF to complement my Softmaker 2018 suite and to fill in forms received in the pdf format. Softmaker does not provide a user forum for FlexiPDF though, as far as I know. The same applies to FlexiPDF's competitor "PDF Editor 10", currently on sale. How do I find s...

Where do I find user support for Softmaker's FlexiPDF?

I need a pdf editor to compliment my Softmaker Office 2018 suite. The pdf editor is needed mainly to fill in forms sent to me in the pdf format, and to paste my signature digitally into the space or box requiring my signature. Hopefully I would also be able to paste a picture into an empty space or ...

Re: Incorrrectly turned inverted comma

I see that you were insulted about this matter! "Mir scheint, dass sich die Softmaker-Programmierer mehr darum kümmern, neumodischen Firlefanz in Softmaker Office einzubauen, anstatt altbekannte Mängel in Ordnung zu bringen." It would be interesting to see if Microsoft has managed to adapt MS Word t...

Re: Incorrrectly turned inverted comma

Thanks! The " nn = 'n " SmartText solution works fine. I enter character 0336 by typing two hyphens in a row (followed by a space) in the same way. I try to minimize key-combination accelerators because I tend to forget them. I'll read the German discussion, thanks for the reference!

Incorrrectly turned inverted comma

The following, very commonly and regularly used Afrikaans word has the inverted comma turned the wrong way around when it is typed into a Textmaker document: 'n . The word 'n has exactly the same meaning and use as the word (the article) "a" in English, e.g. "a car", "an empty cup", "a dollar note"....

Did Revision 928 install automatically?

Unless my memory is playing tricks on me, I did not download and install a new service pack for Softmaker 2018 recently. Yet a "revision 928.0314" seems to have been installed. Should I go see a doctor? Or are service packs aka revisions now being installed automatically?

Re: How do I automatically replace two hyphens in a row with en-dash or em-dash (0336)?

Thanks a lot! I must have been given the same instruction when starting out with Softmaker 2016, but could not find it by searching with terms such as "hyphen", "em dash", "replace" etc., either in the Forum or in the Users Guide. Anyway, back on track with em dash!
